I have a hard time with this one. But only personally,not philosophically. The point is correct, that he was reckless and died of it. The point is correct that drink driving is homicidal/suicidal and that also proved true in this case.

At the same time, and not to be a Debbie Downer, Death is Death. As we are all probably mature enough to know by now, I am not trying to condescend (merely perhaps pull off my own self therapy on other people's walls by pointing this whole thing out)....

My son's father, my ex husband, was a rather reckless guy (it's funny how "reckless" people seem to Wreck things a LOT, eh? ) and a drug addict. We All Knew (much like everyone pretty much could've guessed, and like aforementioned video) That we would get a call in the night, or some other terrible news of his seemingly inevitable demise.... We all HOPED he would grow to be an eccentric old man on one hand, that would've been awesome....but most of us just knew he was going to harm himself. Enough for me to divorce him, anyway...Two years from that day, he took a dive into a creek while toy boat racing with our (8 year old )son....His last word was "COWABUNGA"..... (a great last word...)

Point being, he was my kid's hero and left behind hundreds of ordinary every day people who sat wake and went to his funeral. As is probably EVERY individual we have ALL known, once they are dead. Death is Death.

Put that under a magnifying glass (like an ant in the sun, which is what celebrity is, in a nutshell, in my opinion, boiled down to metaphor till all that is left is the bones and the froth) and this is what you have.
